Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Black Marker
  • Scarecrow Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by attaching the tongue to the bottom part of the mouth.
  • Next, glue the nose above the mouth.
  • Secure the eyes above the nose, gluing them down.
  • Position the hat on top of the head and stick it in place.
  • Glue the patch onto the front of the hat.
  • Use a marker to draw stitch lines across the patch.
  • Attach the hair pieces behind each side of the head under the hat.
  • Glue the straw hands to the ends of the sleeves.
  • Then, take the wider straw trim and glue along the back and bottom edge of the shirt.
  • Stick the patches onto the shirt, then draw stitch marks using a marker.
  • Glue the stick to the lower back side of the shirt.
  • Finish by gluing the completed head to the top of the shirt.
