Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Groundhog template

Instructions

  • Print the template and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the belly in the center of the body.
  • Next, glue the arms on both sides of the top of the belly.
  • Glue the face to the lower part of the head.
  • Color in the eyes, then glue them below the eyebrows.
  • Now, glue the cheeks below the eyes.
  • Place the inner ears in the middle of the outer ears and glue them down.
  • Next, glue the shadow to the back and right of the groundhog.
  • Finish off by gluing the grass to the front and bottom portion of the groundhog.
