Gnomes are whimsical little friends are a festive favorite, and now kids can bring them to life with a fun and creative project when they make this handprint Christmas gnome.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Christmas gnome template

Instructions

  • Download the gnome template, print it, and cut out the pieces.
  • Begin by gluing the eyes below the eyebrows.
  • Next, glue the nose on top of the mouth.
  • Position the hat on the top of the head and glue it in place.
  • Now, glue the Christmas lights around the hat.
  • Trace your child’s hand onto white paper two times and cut it out. Position the fingers pointing down and glue the two handprints together. Place the head on the palm portion of the handprint and glue it in place.
  • Glue the hat pom to the end of the hat.
  • Glue the shoes to the bottom portion of the body.
  • Next, glue the Christmas ornament in the center of the body.
  • Now, glue the arms on both sides of the Christmas ornament.
  • Finish off by gluing the head to the top of the body.
