Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil
  • Hedgehog template

Instructions

  • Download the hedgehog craft template and print onto colored paper. Cut out all of the pieces.
  • Trace your child's hand onto dark brown paper four times and cut each handprint out.
  • Position the 4 brown handprint cutouts in a fan shape and glue together.
  • Place the light brown body in the middle of the handprint fan and glue in place.
  • Glue the eyes slightly above the hedgehog nose.
  • Secure the cream belly slightly below the hedgehog’s mouth with the glue stick.
  • Glue each of the hedgehog's arms on either side of the cream belly with the rounded arms facing in.
  • Glue the 2 hedgehog ears above the body, floating on top of the brown handprints.
  • Optionally, use a marker to draw the inner ears in the middle of the outer ears.
