Handprint Hummingbird Craft

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Hummingbird template

Instructions

  • Download the hummingbird template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the eye below the eyebrow, on the front body piece.
  • Next, glue the throat feathers on the left side of the body.
  • Now, place the front body part onto the lower section of the back body piece.
  • Trace your child's hand onto a colored piece of paper and cut it out. Repeat with a lighter piece of paper. Position the lighter handprint wing on the front and right side of the body and glue it in place.
  • Glue the other handprint wing on the back of the body.
  • Finish off by gluing the beak to the left of the eyes, above the throat feathers.
