Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Glue
  • Manger template

Instructions

  • Download the manger template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the hair to the top of baby Jesus' head.
  • Place the head at the top of the baby swaddled and glue the lower part of the head to the blanket.
  • Trace your child's hand onto a piece of yellow paper four times and cut it out.
  • Arrange the handprints with the fingers pointed outward and the palms towards the center. Take one handprint and glue it to the lower portion of another handprint. Repeat these steps with the other two handprints.
  • Glue the two sets of handprints together, at the palms to create the hay Jesus is laying on.
  • Finish up by gluing baby Jesus in the middle of the hay.
