Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Brown Paper Bag
  • Hedgehog Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the head to the bottom center of the head quills.
  • Then glue the eyes onto the head, just above the nose and below the eyebrows.
  • After that, glue the cheeks on both sides of the nose.
  • Glue the body to the top of the body quills.
  • Now, take the belly piece and glue it to the middle of the body.
  • Next, glue the arms to each side of the belly.
  • Place the feet on the back and bottom of the body and glue them in place.
  • Flip the paper bag so the flap is on top, then trim the bottom of the paper bag to be shorter than the completed body piece.
  • Now, glue the completed body onto the front of the paper bag, just below the flap.
  • Finally, glue the completed head onto the top of the paper bag flap, slightly overlapping the body.
