Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this hedgehog to life!

Begin by gluing the head to the bottom center of the head quills. This gives your hedgehog that iconic spiky look!

Glue the eyes onto the head, just above the nose and below the eyebrows. Your hedgehog is starting to show personality!

Glue the cheeks on both sides of the nose, slightly below the eyes. This gives your hedgehog a cute and friendly look!

Take the body piece and glue it over the body quills. This forms the hedgehog’s lower half.

Grab the belly piece and glue it right in the center of the body.

Glue the arms to the top center of the belly piece, with a slight downward angle.

To complete the body, attach the feet at the bottom of the body, one on each side.

Cut a small strip off the top opening of the paper bag to create a clean, even edge for assembling your puppet.

Take the completed body and glue it onto the front of the paper bag, just below the flap.

Finally, glue the completed head (with quills, eyes, nose, and cheeks) to the top of the paper bag flap so it overlaps slightly with the body.
