Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Patriotic Bird Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the eye on the bird's head, just below the eyebrow.
  • Next, glue the beak right below the eye.
  • Then, attach the wing to the center of the body.
  • Glue the cheek under the eye.
  • Next, glue the tail to the back of the body.
  • After that, attach the feet to the bottom of the body. The right foot should be glued to the front of the body and the left foot should be glued to the back of the body.
  • Finish by coloring in the hat and gluing it to the top of the bird’s head.
