Download the monkey template, print and cut out the pieces.
Trace your child's hand onto the brown paper and cut out the handprint.
Assemble the monkey head by gluing the face in the middle of the head. Glue the pink inner ears to the outer ears. Use the pink marker to draw on two small cheeks.
Position your child's handprint with the thumb facing up. Glue the completed monkey head to the thumb side, like in the picture.
Glue the monkey tail to the back, bottom of the handprint (on the pinky side).
Cut out a long, curved vine from the green paper. Ours measured about .5"x8".
Weave the monkey's arms and legs (the remaining fingers), through the vine you cut in the previous step. We alternated one finger on top of the vine and the next finger below the vine. Glue the fingers to the vine to secure.
