This cute monster craft is a fun Halloween activity that helps kids practice name recognition and letter sequencing while creating a silly personalized monster.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Monster name template

Instructions

  • Open the PDF in Adobe Reader and edit the template to add your child's name. Alternatively, you or your child can write the letters on the teeth letters.
  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the teeth letters along the top edge of the mouth in the correct name order.
  • Look for the tongue piece and glue it onto the bottom center of the mouth.
  • Glue the bottom teeth onto the tongue.
  • Glue the completed mouth onto the bottom portion of the head.
  • Grab the eye pieces and glue the three eyes across the upper part of the head, below the eyebrows.
  • Lastly, glue one horn to the back of the top left side of the head and the other horn to the back of the top right side of the head.
