Moveable Santa Photo Craft For Kids

Keep the kids occupied and their excitement for the holiday going by getting them to do this moveable Santa photo craft. They'll be doing a little dance right along with their Santa craft that can move its arms and legs!

Materials

  • White cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Brads
  • Photo of your child
  • Small hole punch
  • Crayons or markers if using the black and white version
  • Santa template

Instructions

  • Download the Santa template and print it out. If your kids are doing the color in version, let them color it in with crayons or markers. Cut out all the pieces.
  • Begin to make Santa by gluing the beard to the bottom of the child's photo, just below the nose.

  • Place the hat at the top of the child's photo and glue it in place.
  • Take Santa's coat piece and punch holes in all the circles. Punch the holes in the circles on the arms and legs as well.

  • Use a brad to secure the arm to the front of Santa's body. Because there isn't enough room, we pushed both prongs of the brads in the arms down towards the body.
  • Next, attach the legs to Santa's body by pushing the brad through Santa's coat and then through the leg pieces. Open the brad to lay flat along the leg and body. Repeat with the other leg.

  • Finish up by gluing the head to the top of the body.
