Materials

  • Brown paper bag
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Glue
  • Giraffe template

Instructions

  • Download the giraffe template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Position the ears on the corners of the paper bag flap and glue in place.
  • Glue the giraffe head to the flap of the brown paper bag. Glue the body to the rest of the paper bag.
  • Use a brown or orange marker to draw on giraffe spots all along the ears, face, and body.
  • Position the eyes about .5" from the bottom of the flap and glue in place.
  • Take the mouth/nose area and glue it to the lower portion of the face so that it is slightly overlapping the eyes. This part will hang partly off the flap.
  • Finish making the giraffe's horns by gluing the circle top to the rectangle base. Glue the completed horns to the back of the head, in between the ears.
