Download the black cat template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by painting the paper plate with 1-2 thin coats of black paint. Let it dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Trace the face on the paper plate and cut it out.

Next, glue the inner ears to the center of the outer ears.

Now, place the ears on the top and sides of the paper plate and glue them in place.

Glue the eyes on the center of the face.

Position the nose below the eyes and glue it in place.

If your kids are making the happy cat, use the white marker to draw the mouth below the nose.

If your kids are making the angry cat, attach and glue the tongue to the bottom of the mouth.

Next, glue the teeth to the top of the mouth.

Finish off by gluing the completed mouth below the nose.
