Materials
- Paper plate
- Paint
- Paintbrush
- Black marker
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Bold & Bright Crayola markers
- Black cat template
Instructions
- Download the black cat template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by painting the paper plate with 1-2 thin coats of black paint. Let it dry completely before moving on to the next step.
- Trace the face on the paper plate and cut it out.
- Next, glue the inner ears to the center of the outer ears.
- Now, place the ears on the top and sides of the paper plate and glue them in place.
- Glue the eyes on the center of the face.
- Position the nose below the eyes and glue it in place.
- If your kids are making the happy cat, use the white marker to draw the mouth below the nose.
- If your kids are making the angry cat, attach and glue the tongue to the bottom of the mouth.
- Next, glue the teeth to the top of the mouth.
- Finish off by gluing the completed mouth below the nose.
