Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Yellow or brown paint
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- Rooster template
Instructions
- Download the rooster template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by painting a paper plate in a shade of brown or yellow. Let the paper plate dry completely before moving on.
- Place the rooster head template on the dry paper plate, trace with the pencil, and cut it out.
- Glue the eyes in the middle of the head, one on each side.
- Place the wattle behind the rooster's beak and glue it in place.
- Take the completed wattle and beak piece and glue it in between and slightly overlapping the bottom of the eyes.
- Finish off by gluing the comb to the top of the head.
