It’s not only great for helping kids explore art, but it also helps them with specific skills like fine motor skills, cutting practice, following directions, and more!

Fun Rooster Craft

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Yellow or brown paint
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- Rooster template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the rooster template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
Begin by painting a paper plate in a shade of brown or yellow. Let the paper plate dry completely before moving on.
Place the rooster head template on the dry paper plate, trace with the pencil, and cut it out.
Glue the eyes in the middle of the head, one on each side.
Place the wattle behind the rooster’s beak and glue it in place.
Take the completed wattle and beak piece and glue it in between and slightly overlapping the bottom of the eyes.
Finish off by gluing the comb to the top of the head.

Instructions
- Download the rooster template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by painting a paper plate in a shade of brown or yellow. Let the paper plate dry completely before moving on.
