Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Pirate template

Instructions

Boy Pirate Directions

  • Download the pirate template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Fold the card base in half along the dashed line, then cut the head out, leaving the top line uncut.
  • Take the hair and glue it to the top of the head.
  • Next, glue the eyes below the hair, on either side of the nose.
  • Create the pirate hat by gluing the skull and crossbones to the middle of the hat.
  • Finish off by gluing the hat to the top of the boy's hair.
  • Open it up and write a special message inside.

Girl Pirate Directions

  • Download the pirate template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Fold the girl's card base in half along the dashed line. Cut the head out, leaving the top line intact.
  • Take the front hair piece and glue it to the top of the girl's head.
  • Place the bandana ends just below the ears and glue them to the back of the card.
  • Position the back hair piece to the back of the head and glue it in place.
  • Create the bandana top by gluing white circles all over it. Trim off any excess paper that hangs off the sides.
  • Glue the completed bandana to the top of the girl's hair.
  • Open the card up and write a cute message on it.
