Polar Bear Paper Bag Puppet Craft

Materials

  • White paper bag
  • Colored card stock in pink, black and gray
  • Black marker
  • Glue stick
  • .25" circle punch
  • Polar bear puppet template

Instructions

  • Download the polar bear paper bag template, print and cut out the pieces.
  • Glue the face piece to the top of the paper bag flap.
  • Place the gray muzzle in between the eyes and glue in place.
  • Glue the black nose in the middle of the gray muzzle, then use the black marker to draw the mouth.
  • Use the circle punch or scissors to cut out the cheeks from the pink card stock. Glue in place under the eyes. If you don't have a circle punch you can also use a pink marker to draw on the cheeks.
  • Glue the pink inner ears to the white outer ears.
  • Place the completed ears behind the top of the paper bag flap and glue to secure it.
  • Position the gray belly onto the main portion of the white paper bag and glue in place.
  • Line up each arm on either side of the paper bag and glue in place.
  • Use the black marker to draw the footpad onto the polar bear's feet.
  • Glue the finished feet onto the bottom of the paper bag.
