Materials

  • Popsicle Sticks
  • Brown Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Glue Dots
  • Marker
  • Eagle Template

Instructions

  • Download the eagle template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Line up 10 popsicle sticks together. Take 3 additional popsicle sticks, cut them to size, and stretch 2 glue dots along each of them. Glue each of these popsicle sticks to the group of 10, one on top, in the middle, and on the bottom.
Begin by painting the popsicle sticks in 1-2 thin coats of brown paint. Let them dry completely before moving on.
  • Glue the beak in between and slightly overlapping the bottom of the eyes.
  • Attached the head to the popsicle stick body.
  • Draw a line to symbolize the body of the eagle.
  • Place the feet at the bottom and middle of the body and glue them in place.
  • If you’re adding tail feathers, flip the popsicle sticks over and glue them to the bottom section.
  • Take the wings and glue them to the middle and back of the popsicle sticks.
