Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pot of gold template

Instructions

  • Download the pot of gold template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by folding a piece of sturdy black paper in half “hamburger style.” Then, place the pot of gold on it so that the flat part lines up perfectly with the fold line. Trace around the pot of gold and carefully cut it out, making sure to leave the flat part uncut.
  • Next, glue the top portion to the front and top of the card.
  • Glue the white insider portion onto the bottom flap.
  • Now, open up the card and write a special message inside.
  • Finish off by gluing all the coins to the top of the pot of gold.
