How To Make A Pot Of Gold Out Of Construction Paper
Start by downloading the pot of gold template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity.
Help your kids fold a piece of sturdy black paper in half “hamburger style.” Then, place the pot of gold on it so that the flat part lines up perfectly with the fold line. Help your kids trace around the pot of gold and carefully cut it out, making sure to leave the flat part uncut.
Once the pot of gold is cut out, it’s time to finish making it’s iconic shape, by gluing the top portion to the front and top of the card.
When they open the card up, help them glue the white insider portion onto the bottom flap.
To add the finishing touches, it’s time to bring in the coins. Help your kids glue all the coins to the top of the pot of gold.
That’s it! Kids will love creating this card craft by just using simple materials! For more cool crafts like this, be sure to check out our other favorite fun card crafts for kids to keep them entertained!
