Rainbow Card Craft For Kids [Free Template]

There’s nothing happier than a rainbow, so bring cheer to someone special by having your kids make this rainbow card craft!

It’s an incredibly simple activity that’s great as a St. Patrick’s Day craft or for anytime of year.

All you need are some markers or crayons, our free template, scissors, and glue.

Make this cute craft at home or in the classroom! The kids will love creating their own unique rainbow!

Supplies

  • White cardstock
  • Markers or crayons
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Rainbow card template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the rainbow card template and print it out.

Color in the rainbow with the markers or crayons.

Fold the rainbow paper in half along the fold line and cut out, leaving the top, flat part of the rainbow uncut.

Glue the eyes to the middle of the rainbow, then use a black marker to draw on a mouth below the eyes.

Finish off the rainbow by gluing the clouds to each end of the rainbow.

Open up the card and write a short message inside!

Rainbow Card Craft For Kids

Make this easy rainbow card to brighten anyone's day!

Materials

  • White cardstock
  • Markers or crayons
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Rainbow template

Instructions

  1. Download the rainbow template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  2. Color in the rainbow in your choice of colors with the crayons or markers.
  3. Fold along the dashed line, then cut out the rainbow, leaving the top portion uncut.
  4. Glue the eyes to the middle of the rainbow, then use a black marker to draw on the mouth below them.
  5. Glue the clouds to the bottom of both ends of the rainbow.
  6. Open up and write a special message inside.
