St. Patrick’s Day Printables
In this free set of St. Patrick’s Day worksheets, we’ve included the following pages:
- L is for leprechaun handwriting practice page
- St. Patrick’s Day patterns worksheet
- L letter maze worksheet
It’s that time of year when the leprechaun is on the hunt for some treasure at the end of the rainbow. These fun worksheets will get kids excited to discover the letter ‘L’ is for leprechaun as they trace the word leprechaun spelled out in dashed lines and the uppercase and lowercase L’s.
Tracing the shape of the letters over and over again will help them master how to form each letter and refine their fine motor skills.
Next up is the St. Patrick’s Day patterns worksheet where kids will use their scissors to cut out the images at the bottom of the sheet and glue them in the correct place to finish each line of patterns. This will help kids build pattern recognition as they determine what should come next.
Finding patterns is a great way for kids to use their reasoning skills and anticipate what comes next.
The last page we’ve included is a letter L maze. Your child will help the lucky leprechaun make his way through the maze by identifying all of the uppercase and lowercase L’s. Once they have found them all, they will have reached the finish line.
Letter recognition is a key part of early literacy development, so give your little ones an opportunity to practice recognizing letters with this fun and educational worksheet.
