Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Toilet Paper Roll
  • Standard Tape
  • Double Sided Tape
  • Statue of Liberty Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out all the pieces.
  • Begin by adding tape to one side of the body piece.
  • Next, press the taped edge onto the toilet paper roll to start wrapping.
  • Then, add tape to the other edge and finish wrapping the body piece around the roll.
  • Add the eyes to the face cutout.
  • Flip the crown over and add double-sided tape to the bottom edge.
  • Next, tape the finished head to the top of the toilet paper roll.
  • Stick the flame onto the top of the torch base.
  • Attach the left arm to the side of the body.
  • Add the torch to the left hand.
  • Finish by attaching the right arm to the opposite side of the roll.
