This sunflower Mother’s Day card craft is a fun and thoughtful way for kids to show Mom just how much she means to them.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Elmers 2X Glue
  • Marker
  • Ribbon
  • Sunflower Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and cut out all the pieces you need.
  • Fold the flower paper base along the center to form the card. Cut it out, leaving the top, flat part uncut.
  • Glue the flower centers onto the middle of each flower piece.
  • Glue the leaves behind each flower.
  • Arrange the flowers side by side to form a bouquet and glue them together.
  • Attach the bouquet to the top part of the folded card base.
  • Glue a ribbon strip across the front of the flower paper.
  • Tie a separate ribbon into a bow and glue it on top of the ribbon strip.
  • Trim the ends of the ribbon bow.
  • Open the card and write a message inside to finish.
