Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Turkey Gnome template

Instructions

  • Download the Turkey Gnome template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing both eyes just below the eyebrows.
  • Glue the face to the top of the beard piece.
  • Glue the snood in the middle of the face, just below the eyes. Then, glue the nose over the snood, just below the eyes.
  • Place the gnome’s head on the top of the body and glue it in place.
  • Next, take the shoes and glue them to the bottom of the body.
  • Use the markers to color the pumpkin, then glue the pumpkin in the middle of the turkey's body.
  • Glue the hands on both sides of the pumpkin so that it looks like the gnome is holding it.
  • Position the hat on the top of the gnome's head and glue it down, slightly overlapping the top of the eyes.
  • Complete the hat by gluing the hat band, then the outer buckle, and finally the inner buckle down.
  • Finish up by gluing the feathers to the back and sides of the gnome's body.
