Thanksgiving Gnome Craft

You’ll need a few basic supplies, which we’ve outlined for you below, along with our free template. So, let’s dive into this project and spread some Thanksgiving cheer!
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers
- Turkey Gnome template (unlock the free template at the end of the post)
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this gnome to life!
First, guide your child to glue both eyes just below the eyebrows.
Glue the face to the top of the beard piece.
Glue the snood in the middle of the face, just below the eyes. Then, glue the nose over the snood, just below the eyes.
Place the gnome’s head on the top of the body and glue it in place.
Next, help your child to take the shoes and glue them to the bottom of the body.
Use the markers to color the pumpkin, then glue the pumpkin in the middle of the turkey’s body.
Glue the hands on both sides of the pumpkin so that it looks like the gnome is holding it.
Position the hat on the top of the gnome’s head and glue it down, slightly overlapping the top of the eyes.
Complete the hat by gluing the hat band, then the outer buckle, and finally the inner buckle down.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the feathers to the back and sides of the gnome’s body.
