Turkey Shape Craft
Making this adorable shape turkey craft is fun and a way to sneak in some learning. As kids snip and stick the pieces together, they’ll start to recognize basic shapes without even realizing it. Gluing and cutting boost those tiny hand muscles and fine motor skills.
We have a color, cut, and paste version that’s as easy as pie for the littlest turkeys. This version has fewer pieces, so it’s a little easier for them to assemble than the craft version.

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Turkey shape craft template (click the “click here to get your freebies” image at the end of the post)

Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring the turkey to life!

First, guide your child to glue the eyes beneath both of the eyebrows.

Glue the snood in the middle of the face and a little to the side, then glue it in place. Take the beak and glue in below the eyes and covering the snood.

Next, help your child to take the turkey’s head and glue it to the top of the turkey’s body.

Place the feet at the bottom of the turkey’s body and glue them down.

Finally, encourage your child to fan out and glue the feathers to the back and top of the turkey’s head and body.
