Paper Plate Pilgrim Craft For Kids [Free Template]

Easy Paper Plate Pilgrim Craft

Supplies

  • Paper plates
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Black marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pilgrim template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the pilgrim template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Paint a paper plate in 1-2 thin coats of skin-colored paint. Let dry completely before moving on.

Begin to create the hat by gluing the hat band to the base of the hat. Trim off any paper that hangs off the sides.

Place the outer buckle in the middle of the hat band, then glue the inner buckle to the middle of the outer buckle.

Next, glue the hat to the top of the hair.

Position the eyes near the middle of the paper plate and glue one on each side.

Glue the mouth in the middle of the plate, just below the eyes.

Take the tongue and glue it to the bottom of the mouth.

Next, glue the cheeks on both sides of the mouth.

Use a black marker to draw on the pilgrim’s nose, just below the eyes.

Finish up by gluing the hair and hat piece to the top of the paper plate, so the hair hangs on top of the eyes.

Paper Plate Pilgrim Craft For Kids

What better way to spend time together than by doing some fun crafts with the kids? They'll love literally making a new friend as they craft this paper plate pilgrim and learn about the pilgrims and all that we have to be thankful for.

Materials

  • Paper plates
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Black marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pilgrim template

Instructions

  1. Download the pilgrim template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
