Pumpkin Craft For Preschoolers [FREE Template]

Fall is our favorite time of year! To celebrate this beautiful season we’re sharing this cute pumpkin craft for preschoolers.

This craft is great for preschoolers because it’s not only fun but it’s also helpful for little ones who need to work on valuable skills like fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, following directions, and more.

How To Make A Paper Pumpkin

Download the pumpkin template, print, and cut out the pieces.

If you’re using the template option with the individual pumpkin pieces, keep reading. If you’re using the whole pumpkin option skip down to the next step.

Take the middle pumpkin piece, with the smile on it, and glue it to the outside pumpkin pieces. Next glue the outermost pumpkin pieces to the middle pieces.

Glue the eyes in the middle of the pumpkin shape, just above the mouth.

Place the pumpkin leaf at the top of the pumpkin and glue to the back. Do the same for the pumpkin stem.

To add a pumpkin spiral, cut out a long, thin strip from the green paper. Wrap it around your finger, then glue it next to the base of the pumpkin.

This easy pumpkin craft for preschoolers is a fun way to celebrate fall or Halloween!

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • White cardstock
  • Glue stick
