Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Pumpkin template (unlock the template at the end of the post)
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this pumpkin to life!
First, guide your child to take the middle pumpkin piece with the smile on it and glue it to the outside pieces.
Next, help your child glue the outermost pumpkin pieces to the middle pieces.
Glue the eyes in the middle of the pumpkin shape, just above the mouth.
Place the pumpkin leaf at the top of the pumpkin and glue it to the back. Do the same for the pumpkin stem.
To add a pumpkin spiral, encourage your child to cut out a long, thin strip from the green paper. Wrap it around your finger, then glue it next to the base of the pumpkin.
