Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this fairy gingerbread to life!

Look for the eyes and glue them onto the top portion of the gingerbread body, just above the mouth.

Grab your pink marker and lightly color in two small circles right below the eyes. These are the fairy’s rosy cheeks.

Let’s decorate the head! Take the hair piece and glue it to the top of the gingerbread head.

Now for the disguise! Glue the skirt to the bottom half of the gingerbread’s body. It looks like a little tutu already!

Next, look for the top piece. Place a bit of glue on the back and secure it just above the skirt. Our gingerbread fairy is really coming together!

Using your little pom poms, glue them down the center of the top. This is a great step for practicing fine motor skills!

Use a white gel marker or a white paint pen to draw wavy lines around the edges of the arms and legs. This is the decorative icing that makes them look so delicious and festive!

Our last step is the most magical! What’s a fairy without her wings? Take the wing pieces and glue them to the back of the gingerbread body.

Isn’t that the perfect disguise for our little cookie friend this holiday season? If you loved this fun transformation, you absolutely must check out some of our other favorite Christmas crafts for your kiddos while you’re here!
