A great way to get kids moving and engaged in play is through pretend play.
Pretend play can help kids learn important skills like problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, language development, socialization, and more.
One fun way for kids to engage in pretend play is by using these free printable snowman stick puppets for kids.
The snowmen are cut out with pre-colored pieces so kids can either use them as they are or color them in their own unique way.
Once they’re done playing the kids will be able to keep these snowman stick puppets on hand for future imaginative games!
Print them out and use them all winter long. Also, be sure to check out all of our snowman activities for kids.

Winter Unit For Kids
Create an entire winter unit around these snowman stick puppets! Read on below for our favorite ideas to keep your kids engaged, learning, and having fun!
First up are books. Reading aloud to your child is a great way to pass time, but it also can help kids increase their vocabulary, learn sight words, focus, and so much more.
Because of these reasons, we always suggest starting a new theme with books!
The Biggest Snowman Ever – When the mayor of Mouseville announces the town snowman contest, Clayton and Desmond claim that they will each make the biggest snowman ever.
The Snowy Day – This story shows a child’s wonder at a new world and the hope of capturing and keeping that wonder forever.
Sneezy The Snowman– Sneezy is COLD! And he’s trying to warm up without success. But, the kids know exactly how to help him!
Of course, we always like lots and lots of crafts! Crafting is a great way for kids to learn to express themselves, learn to follow directions, and practice fine motor skills.
Add in any of these fun winter crafts to your unit studies:
