Handprint Arctic Fox Craft [Free Template Included]

Now that winter is in full swing, we’re snuggling up inside and making even more fun crafts with the kids!

When we think of cold weather animals, one of the first animals that come to mind is an arctic fox which is why we made this handprint arctic fox craft.

It’s a fun winter animal craft that’s great for young kids to make.

Arctic Fox Craft For Kids

Supplies

  • Gray and white cardstock or construction paper
  • Black marker
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Arctic Fox template (enter your email in the form at the end of the post to have it sent to you)

Directions

Download the arctic fox template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Glue the face to the middle of the fox head, then use the black marker to draw on the nose just above the mouth line.

Trace your child’s hand onto a gray piece of paper and cut it out. Glue the completed arctic fox head to the thumb part of the handprint, like in the picture below.

Assemble the fox’s tail by gluing the white tip to the end of the tail. Use the scissors to trim off the excess paper.

Glue the completed fox tail to the back of the handprint, along the pinky side.

Use the black marker to draw on the paw lines along each of the four legs.

And you’re done! This is such a fun and simple winter project kids will have a blast making!

See how easy it is to transform your child or student's handprint into this cute handprint arctic fox craft!

Materials

  • Gray and white cardstock or construction paper
  • Black marker

Instructions

  1. Download the arctic fox template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  2. Glue the face to the middle of the fox head, then use the black marker to draw on the nose just above the mouth line.
