Valentine’s Day is a great opportunity to celebrate with your kids to show them a little extra love. Spend some quality time together making a fun and festive craft together!
Kids will “toad-ally” love creating this frog Valentine craft. They can share it with a friend on Valentine’s Day, or use it as a festive decoration for the fridge or wall.
While the kids are busy creating, they’re also working on some essential skills. Learning to follow instructions and honing their fine motor skills will benefit them in all areas of life, not just in crafting!
There’s not too much prep involved to get this cute paper craft ready to make. You’ll just need some common supplies you probably already have on hand such as colored paper, scissors, and glue.

Printable Valentine Craft

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Frog template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the frog template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by gluing the eyes to the top of each eye bump.

Place the belly in the middle of the frog’s body and glue it in place.

Next, glue the heart to the middle of the frog.

Glue the arms on both sides of the frog’s body so it looks like it’s holding the heart in place. Cut off any excess paper that hangs off the sides.

Finish up by gluing the feet to the bottom of the frog’s legs.
