Valentine’s Day is coming up quickly! It’s a great time to start getting in the spirit of the day with some crafts!
Today, we’re sharing this unicorn valentine card craft. So if your child loves unicorns – this is the perfect idea for them!
This Valentine craft for kids is a great way to keep the kids entertained and having fun. Or, if you’re a school teacher it can be a great way to ease your students back into school after some time off.
Once your kids have made these cute cards, they can write a fun message inside and pass it to someone special or leave it blank and put it up as a decoration!
Either way – this is a fun tutorial that they’ll love.

Homemade Valentine Card For Kids To Make

Supplies
- Cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Unicorn template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the unicorn template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
Fold the unicorn head template page in half along the dashed line, then cut out the head leaving the fold line intact.
Glue the eyes on the front of the card, right around the middle of the head.
Place the nose piece on the bottom of the face, slightly overlapping the bottom of the eyes. Cut off the excess paper that hangs off the face.
Assemble the unicorn’s mane by gluing the top, middle, and bottom pieces together. Next, glue the completed mane to the top of the unicorn’s head.
Glue the unicorn horn in the middle of the mane.
Finish the ears by gluing the inner ears to the outer ears. Take the completed ears and glue them to the back of the card.
**Be sure to place the ears wide enough on the head so that the card is still able to open.
Open up the card and write a special message!
