This unicorn headband craft is the perfect craft for little girls who can’t get enough of unicorns.
We’ve given you our free printable template to make this unicorn craft very simple to make! All you need to do is print out, cut the pieces and get crafting.

- Colored card stock (in yellow, green and unicorn colors)
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Staples or tape
- Unicorn headband template (download form located at the end of the page)
Directions
Download the free unicorn headband template, print and cut out the pieces.
Glue the unicorn’s mane to the top of the main headband piece.
Glue the unicorn’s horn at the top, middle of the mane.
Position the inner ear onto the white outer ear and glue down.
Place the completed ears behind the mane and glue in place.
Optional: Add a floral crown by gluing the middle flower right in front of the horn. Next glue two leaves to either side of the small flowers, then glue the completed flowers to both sides of the large flower.
Attach additional headband pieces by stapling or taping the pieces together.
We pretty much love every unicorn craft, but this one is close to the top of our list!

Unicorn Headband Template
Because there are so many pages to the unicorn template, we decided to explain it in detail here.
The first page is full color, so you can print it, cut out and be done.
The second page is the black and white version. If you don’t want to make a craft, but you still want to have the headbands, the black and white version is perfect.

Just print out the pieces and let the kids color them in. We could see this being perfect for use with preschool and kindergarten classrooms.
To embellish, you could also add glitter, stickers or anything else the kids want to add!
The last part of the headband template is the craft template that we gave directions for above.
If you’re doing this craft with one or two children, then you can use the first part of the template. Print this out on white cardstock, cut out, then trace onto the colored paper that you want.
If instead, you’re doing this craft with a group of children, then you’ll want to use the last part of the template. With this one, each piece is duplicated on one page, so kids will only need to cut out the pieces once.
Whichever way you decide to make this unicorn craft, we’re certain the kids are going to love it!
