Koala Valentine Craft For Kids [Free Template]

Valentine’s Day is a fun day for kids to show people in their lives how much they love them, and receive lots of love in return.

There are so many ways to make the day special from sweet treats to spending time doing something fun!

A great way for kids to share the love is to give someone special a handmade Valentine! Give them a chance to get creative this Valentine’s Day with our koala Valentine craft!

We’ve chosen the traditional Valentine’s colors of pink and red, but kids can customize their koalas to be any color they like!

This sweet paper craft is easy to prepare and make! You’ll just need a few basic supplies, so download the template to get started making some holiday memories with the kids.

Valentine’s Day Craft

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Koala template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the koala template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Start by gluing the inner ears to the outer ears.

Place the eyes, one on each side of the head, and glue them in place.

Next, place the mouth piece in the middle of the face, just below the eyes.

Take the nose and glue it just above the mouth.

Position the belly in the middle of the koala’s body and glue it down.

Glue the heart in the middle of the koala’s body.

Next, glue the arms, one on each side, so it looks like the arms are holding the heart. Cut off the excess paper that hangs off the sides.

Finish the koala by using a marker to draw on the eyebrows and cheeks.
