Cow Valentine Craft For Kids [Free Template]

Valentine’s Day is coming up soon, and it’s a great time for kids to celebrate! They can show the special people in their lives that they’re thankful for their love and friendship.

A sweet way to spread the love is with a handmade Valentine, so have the kids make this adorable cow Valentine craft saying “I love moo!”.

It’s a fun and creative paper craft that’s easy for kids to complete with some basic supplies. It will help them work on their scissor skills, fine motor skills, and following instructions when they complete this project.

Cow Valentine Paper Craft

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Cow template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the cow template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin to make the cow by gluing one of the spots to the top of the head. Trim off any excess paper.

Place the inner ears on both of the outer ears and glue them in place.

Next, take the nose and mouth piece and glue it to the bottom of the face.

Position the eyes below each of the eyebrows and glue them in place.

Glue two more of the spots on the body and cut off any excess paper that hangs over the sides.

Next, glue the heart in the middle of the body.

Take the two bottom hooves and glue them to the bottom legs.

Create the cow’s arms by gluing the hooves to each of them.

Finish up by gluing the arms to each side of the cow’s body and covering the heart so it looks like the cow is holding it.
