Turtle Father's Day Craft

We can make Father’s Day a “shell-ebration” to remember with this adorable turtle Father’s Day craft.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Turtle template

Instructions

  • Download the turtle template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • First, encourage your child to glue the bottom shell piece to the lower part of the top of the shell piece.
  • Next, glue the underside shell piece to the middle and back of the shell.
  • Help your child arrange the front legs on both sides of the under shell piece and glue them to the back.
  • Finish up the legs by gluing the back legs just behind and on the outside of the front legs.
  • Next, glue the head to the center of the shell.
  • Position the eyes below the eyebrows and glue them in place.
  • Finish off by gluing the turtle to the center of the background paper.
