Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker or crayon
  • Walrus Valentine Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the eye pieces below each of the eyebrows.
  • Next, glue the tusks to the bottom and back of the snout and press them in place until secure.
  • Color the mouth piece and glue it to the back of the snout, positioning it between the tusks.
  • Now, glue the heart piece in the center of the walrus's body.
  • Take the completed nose and mouth and glue it under the walrus’s eyes.
  • Glue one cheek piece on each side of the face, just below the eyes.
  • Next, glue the flippers onto each side of the body so they appear to hold the heart.
  • Now, glue the tail piece slightly to the left side and back of the walrus's body.
  • Finish by gluing the walrus to the top of the ice piece, so it looks like the walrus is sitting on it.
