Dads are the best, right? They are there to teach us new things, hold our hand when we need a little extra help, and love and spend quality time with us.

Father’s Day Worksheets
In this set of activity pages, you’ll find the following printables:
- Father’s Day Shadow Matching
- Father’s Day Maze

Up first in our set of printables is the shadow matching page. Kids will use their visual discrimination skills to spot similarities and differences in shapes and objects.
With this activity, kids will draw a line from the detailed, colored illustration to its matching shadow. This is a great activity for young kids learning to recognize differences in things like letters to develop basic reading skills.
The next sheet will have kids guiding the child to his dad through the Father’s Day maze. As kids navigate the maze, they are using their problem-solving skills, spatial visualization, and fine motor skills.
Completing mazes are a great way for kids to sharpen their memory, learn to reason, and build focus and concentration. And at the end, we have our dad there to celebrate our accomplishments with!
Next up is the count and graph sheet that will help kids build on their basic math skills! They’ll practice counting the items that represent dads, then learn to fill out a graph by filling in the correct amount of squares above each item.
Kids will also use their visual discrimination skills to identify and classify the different objects displayed together in the box of items.
Finally, with the match the object worksheet, kids will find the objects that are the same and draw a line to the one on the opposite side of the page.
This activity encourages kids to examine each item to find similarities and differences and to use their fine motor skills when drawing a line to the matching dad item.
