Gingerbread Craft For Preschoolers

You only need a handful of supplies and our free template. The template is editable so you can type in your child’s name on the gum drops, or leave them blank and kids can practice their handwriting by writing their names on them instead.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- White acrylic paint marker or Bold & Bright markers (optional)
- Gingerbread Template
Directions
Download the Gingerbread template, edit the template with the child’s name, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
Begin by gluing the hair to the top of the gingerbread’s head.
Glue both eyes just below the hair.
Place the bowtie just below the mouth and glue it in place.
Position the buttons in the middle of the gingerbread’s body and glue it down.
Draw icing decorations on the arms and legs.
Place the completed Gingerbread on a background piece of paper and glue it down.
Finish up by arranging the letters below the Gingerbread to spell out the child’s name.
