Directions

Start by downloading the tie template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this card to life!

First, encourage your child to take the cut-out tie piece, fold it in half along the dashed lines, and carefully cut out the middle piece.

Next, guide your child to decorate the front of the tie. In this example, we glued stripes along the front, but we also have a template for stars and circles. Trim off any excess paper that hangs off the sides.

Finally, help your child to open the card up and write a fun message to Dad or Grandpa.
