I vividly remember the days when my mom would tuck a handwritten note on a napkin or a scrap piece of paper into my brown paper lunch bag.
I always smiled to myself and loved it when I had a little extra special attention from my mom. And now that I’m a mom of a school-aged child myself, I want to continue that tradition on for my own family.

Free Printable Lunch Notes
While summer vacation may have just started I’ve decided to get quite the head start on the new school year by creating these free printable lunch notes for kids.
I don’t know about you, but when the school year approaches I always seem to be running around frantically trying to gather school supplies, plan lunches and who knows what else before the first day begins.
And I only have one kid in school!
But I know how much he loves to get notes in his lunchbox. I wish I was the super organized mom that could have a different cute note in their lunch every day, but that is way too overwhelming for me. I like to save the notes for special occasions like a birthday, May the 4th, when I know he’s had a rough week or just intermittently when he hasn’t had one in a while.
However you use these notes, I hope they provide a little boost to your child’s day!
And don’t forget to think outside the box; these notes also work great for the summer if your kiddo is in year round school, is in day care or summer camp.
