This craft is a great opportunity for kids to improve their dexterity and fine motor skills as they scrunch up each piece of tissue paper and glue it in place.

Use our free template to make this craft even easier. With the template, kids will know where to place each piece of tissue paper to create their cute little ladybug!

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Tissue paper squares
  • Ladybug template (enter your email in the form at the end of the post to get the template)

Directions

Download the ladybug template, print it, and cut out the eyes.

Take the glue and spread it along a part of the ladybug template.

Scrunch the tissue paper up and glue it along the portion you spread the glue. Repeat all over the ladybug until the entire thing is filled with tissue paper.

Glue the eyes onto the head portion of the ladybug.

Finish up by cutting the bottom portion of the page off.
