The turkey’s newfound stealth can be achieved with colored paper, scissors, glue, and our handy template.

Your kiddos will help the turkey escape the dinner table, while also giving them a chance to work on their fine motor skills, scissor skills, and following instructions.

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Ninja turkey template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to get the template)

Directions

Download the turkey template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by gluing the clothing decoration pieces in an “X” shape in the middle and bottom of the feathers.

Take the wings and glue them on both sides of the “X” shape.

Next, take the feet and glue them to the middle and bottom of the ninja turkey’s feathers.

Place the turkey’s head in the middle of the feathers, above the “X” pieces.

Glue the eyes in the middle of the face.

Position the snood in the middle of the turkey’s head, then glue it down. Glue the beak on top of the snood, in between the eyes.

Finish up by gluing the headband to the top of the turkey’s head.
