Paper Plate Cat Craft

Cat Craft For Kids

Supplies

Directions

Download the cat template, print and cut out the pieces you want to use.

Paint the paper plate in the shade you choose. Let the paper plate dry completely before moving on.

Place the template on the paper plate, trace, and cut out.

For the Siamese cat, glue the mouth/nose combo in the middle of the paper plate.

For the Tabby cat, glue the mouth to the bottom of the paper plate, then glue the nose to the top of this piece.

Glue the eyes on either side of the nose.

For the Tabby cat, glue stripes along the top of the cat and along the sides of the face.

Take the cheeks and glue them just below the eyes.

Make the cat’s ears by gluing the pink inner ear to the brown outer ear. Glue the completed ears behind the paper plate head, one on each side.

Paper Plate Cat Craft

Materials

  • Paper plates
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
