Lion Craft For Kids

Supplies

• Colored cardstock (in orange, yellow-orange, pink and black)
• White cardstock
• Glue stick
• Scissors
• Pink and black marker
• 1″ circle punch (optional)
• Lion template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the lion craft template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin to assemble the lion’s face by gluing the eyes towards the top of the yellow-orange face. If you look closely at the pictures you can see we made one lion with the wider part of the face up and one with the wider part of the face down. You can make it whichever way you prefer.

Glue the lion’s nose just below the eyes.

Use the circle punch or scissors to cut out two 1″ circles. Glue these circles on either side of the nose, just below the eyes. If you don’t want to cut more pieces out, you can also use a pink marker to draw in the cheeks.

Take the black marker and draw on the mouth like the pictures show.

Use the pink marker to draw the inner ear onto the lion’s outer ear. Glue the ears to the top, back of the lion’s face.

Take the completed lion’s face and glue it in the middle of the lion’s mane.

Put the neck behind the back of the mane and glue in place.
