Mother’s Day Craft Printable

Supplies

• Colored cardstock or construction paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Markers
• Cactus template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)

Directions

Start by downloading the cactus template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity.

First, grab a dark green marker and draw vertical lines along all the cactus pieces.

Now, switch to a light green marker and have the kids draw spines along the vertical lines.

Take the eyes and help your child glue them just above the mouth, on both sides of the cactus.

Next, let your kids add the cheeks just below the eyes and glue them in place.

Place the two small pieces and glue them to the top and back of the main cactus piece.

Finally, encourage your kids to glue the pot to the front and lower part of the cactus base. Write a special message on the front of the pot.
