Hooked On Daddy Craft For Kids [Free Template]

Fish Father’s Day Craft

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Fish template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)

Directions

Start by downloading the fish template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this craft to life!

First, encourage your child to create the fish by gluing the eye just to the left of the mouth.

Next, take the top fin and glue it to the top and back of the fish.

Now, guide your child to take the side fin and glue it to the front and bottom of the fish, below the gills.

Attach the tail fin to the end and back of the fish’s body and glue it in place.

Help your child position their completed fish on the water background and glue it in place.

Finally, add the bobber between the hook and line of the fishing pole.

This year, have the kids show Dad how much they love him with a homemade craft! This "hooked on Daddy" fish craft is cute, fun, and easy to make.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Fish template

Instructions

  1. Download the fish template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  2. Begin to create the fish by gluing the eye just to the left of the mouth.
  3. Take the top fin and glue it to the top and back of the fish.
  4. Next, take the side fin and glue it to the front and bottom of the fish, below the gills.
  5. Glue the tail fin to the end and back of the fish's body.
  6. Position the completed fish on the water background and glue it in place.
  7. Finish off by gluing the bobber between the hook and line of the fishing pole.
